We are excited to see the colors of 2024 and how they can be showcased in this upcoming year. As Florida-based designers, these ‘colors of the year’ work perfectly for our Tampa and Orlando clients. One of the more in-demand colors is Sherwin-Williams Upward, a soft blue that will be popular among our coastal design projects.
Neutrals including soft whites, beige, warm grays and accents of black are still a dominant backdrop for interiors. The below colors introduced this year will be great trend colors and work well with any natural vibe.

of the Year ‘Upward’ SW 6239.
Upward is a breezy, soft blue with a
hint of silver. This relaxing shade
pairs well with greens, deeper blues,
neutrals and hints of black.

Staying on the blue trend, Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year is Blue Nova 825. A violet-blue that embraces a modern feel, this color can do well dominating interior walls or as a bold accent color toned down with softer neutrals. Blue Nova works with sky blues, burnt orange, lilacs and dark charcoal.

Making a bold statement with Behr’s 2024 Color, Cracked Pepper PPU18-01. This color plays a very important role in making a striking statement. A shade of black, Cracked Pepper, offers endless expression for every design style, from rich tones and illuminating neutrals to classic hues and bold accents.

The final color we’d like to introduce is Pantone’s Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz 13-1023. Pantone calls Peach Fuzz a “ velvety gentle peach whose all-embracing spirit enriches heart, mind, and body.” We have seen a trend in the past year of soft pinks, dusty rose and peach tones. These tones are great for subtle accents and a fresh, feminine feel.
