DECORATING FOR THE EASTER HOLIDAY

Credit: Zdesign at Home

Easter Sunday is a time when family and friends gather together to observe religious traditions, and these celebrations often include adorable bunnies and artful Easter eggs. But seasonal motifs, such as pastel hues and freshly-bloomed flowers, have their place in Easter gatherings, too. One easy way to get everyone into the spirit of the season is by incorporating these classic themes into your home décor and table settings.

Creating a color palette

Pastel pinks, greens, yellows and purples are the predominant color choices for the Easter Holiday. Spring is in the air and the Easter palette is influenced by outdoor gardens and fresh blooms.

Setting the table

Give your holiday table a fresh look with spring flowers, colored eggs and stylish chick and bunny themed decor. Dress up your Easter table with linens, tableware and decorative candles.

Botanicals and lilies

No space is complete without having fresh spring blooms . Lilies, daffodils, tulips and daisies are the most common flowers to adorn your table tops. They come in classic Easter pastels as well as bright spring colors. Mix it up by using ceramic pitchers, mason jars or wooden troughs.
