ARTISAN PARK PROJECT: THE REVEAL PART 1

This project was completed last fall and was a complete renovation of our client’s kitchen and bathrooms along with new flooring, interior paint and window treatments throughout the home. Our client wanted to create a more functional space for her and her daughter along with updating the style to a more classic and timeless look.

The renovation started with moving all of her existing furnishings out and doing a major demo of the kitchen and bathrooms.  We gave the home an updated and fresh look with new luxury vinyl flooring, high baseboards and a fresh coat of interior paint throughout.

For the kitchen design, we opened up the layout and added more work surface by putting in a large center island. Next to the pantry door we incorporated a built-in china cabinet for storage and display. The goal was to create a timeless and classic look with a little bit of traditional and french feel to compliment her existing furnishings throughout the home.

The perimeter of the cabinets were done in a soft white and contrasting the large center island in a light, warm beige wood stain. We kept the main components of the kitchen in soft neutral tones and added touches of black and champagne golds. The china cabinet and range hood were accented in black and the cabinet hardware and accent lighting were done in brushed golds, giving a french and classic feel.

Other design details were incorporating  an undermount farmhouse sink, brushed gold sconces flanking the black hood and introducing a clean look with an Invisacook product – an induction method of cooking where the burners are under the porcelain countertop.

Stay tuned for part 2 when we take you through the reveal of our master and guest bathrooms…
